August & September 2017 Faves

Wow! This year has just been flying by. I can't believe I haven't posted in over 2 months! That is crazy! I've been trying to use up some of my collection lately and have been gravitating towards some old favourites and holy grail products. The theme of this post is my August and September faves but it is really my current faves as they are products that I am still using and loving in October.

• Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette - I just love how these shadows smell and blend
• PUR Soiree Diaries - I got this in a Boxycharm box and am in love with the shades and pigmentation
• Zoeeva Cocoa Blend Palette - I have my go to shades ;)
• NARS Radiant Concealer - LOVE!
• Urban Decay Naked Concealer - Also LOVE!
• Jouer Highlighter in Topaz - this stuff will give you a glow!
• Make Up Forever Pro Sculpting Duo in #2
• Hoola Bronzer
• Benefit Bella Bamba Blush - gives a nice flush and glow
• MAC Melba Blush
• MAC Modern Mandarin Blush
• Loreal Lash Paradise - this does remind me of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Summer Loving Faves! June & July 2017

Hello lovely people :) Hope your August is starting off well. The past couple of months have been a real blur for me. I've been shopping my stash alot an using some "new" products. I haven't been using much foundation as the weather has been pretty HOT and I would just sweat it off. So, I've been relying on my MAC strobe cream and concealer. The MAC strobe cream gives my skin a nice glow which I have been loving! Here are all the products I have been reaching for the past couple of months:

• Nars Radiant Concealer - I've used this so much that I am almost out!
• Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
• ABH Pure Hollywood Liquid Lipstick - I recently picked this up at a local sephora where it was always sold out. I really love pairing this with different lip liners and glosses.
• Buxom Gloss in Mai Tai - Perfect for summer xoxo
• Marc Jacobs Gloss in Sugar Sugar - This gloss is so creamy!
• MAC MSF in Medium Dark
• MAC Strobe Cream in Goldlite
• Loreal Voluminous Base Mascara
• Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise - Love this mascara and wand! I hear this is a dupe for the TF Better than Sex Mascara but I haven't tried this mascara to compare. 
• SL Miss Glam Powder Brush from the Mermaid Sparkle collection - I love her brushes and use them every day!!

Current Favourites (March, April & May!)

So... I've been gone for a hot minute! 3 months to be exact. Boy time is flying by and I can't believe we are already in June. Half the year is gone. Hope everyone is doing well :) For the past few months my makeup has changed and I've been trying to use up some items in my collection plus try out some new things. Here are just a few things that I have been loving currently.

• Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 - an oldie but a goodie!
• Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer - this stuff makes my skin look so smooth. I guess that is why the call it "perfecting" LOL
• Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Full Coverage Foundation - Awesome coverage and lasting power.
• Too Faced Sweet Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Pure Peach - Moisturizing and sheer pigmentation but still pretty. This has made yet another appearance on my favourtes!
• Maybelline Colossal Big Shot - I use this almost everyday... I think I should retire it soon.
• MAC Eyeliner in Smoulder
• Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion
• Essence Light up your face luminizer palette - This gives you a subtle highlight and you can mix the three luminizers
• PF Butter Bronzer - Smells so good!
• MAC Melba Blush
• Milani Luminoso Blush 
• CP Highlighter in Smokin' Whisltes - gorgeous highlight if you like cream highlights.
• Maybelline Lipsticks in Blushing Beige, Ravishing Rose & Lust for Blush

January Favourites 2017

It's January Favourites time!! I can't believe it February already. As you can see from the picture above I went for a very particular colour scheme in January. Was totally loving the bronze / neutral colours for eyeshadows and neutrals for the face and lips.

• Zoella Chocolate Palette - love love love this palette! So creamy and pigmented.
• Morphe 25B Palette - The shades in this palette is awesome! I think it is sold out on the Morphe site at the moment but I heard that they will be bringing it back.
• Tarte Exposed Blush - an oldie but a goodie!

• Sephora Gel Concealer
• MAC L/S in Velvet Teddy
• MAC L/S in Kinda Sexy

#UDVanCity Grand Opening & Sephora VIB Event Haul

September 10th was the Grand Opening of Urban Decay's first Canadian stand alone store @ Metrotown. The event brought together makeup enthusiast and bloggers to the store where they had meet & greets, gift cards for the first 100 in line and also a key that could potentially unlock 1 of 3 vault prizes. I unfortunately was not one of the lucky ones to get a vault prize or gift card. Nonetheless, the store opening was fun and I really enjoyed going through all of the Urban Decay products available. I picked up 3 items from the Grand Opening which were:

• The Beached Bronzer
• Vice Lipstick in Venom
• Vice Lipstick in Shame

With my 3 purchases I was able to get a GWP which was a cute makeup pouch (pictured below) filled with some UD samples. 

On the same day Sephora was hosting an event to give early access to the upcoming Holiday collections. I didn't pick up any Holiday items but I did pick up a couple of lip & brow products.

• Benefits Defined & Refined Brows kit - can't wait to use this! I've heard lots of good things about this product
• ABH Liquid Lipstick in Dusty Rose
• MUFE Lipstick in M401

August Favourites 2016

Where has Summer gone? I swear it was August like 2 seconds ago and poof now it's the middle of September?! Soon it will be October and Halloween! Who's excited? To be honest I can't wait for the fall weather to roll in and all the comfy sweaters that come with the change in weather. I am super late on my August faves, but better late than never right?

• ABH Contour Kit - I have been loving the banana shade in this kit to set my under eyes
• NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer - amazing coverage and goes on so smoothly
• NARS Orgasm Blush - one of my OG faves
• MAC Lip Liner in Boldly Bare - gorgeous everyday lip colour
• Benefit They're Real Mascara - it's something about the brush that makes me love this mascara
• MAC Nylon Eyeshadow (shown in my MAC quad) - I've been loving this as my brow bone and inner corner highlight
• Loreal Infalliable Matte Foundation - where have you been all my life?!
• Maybelline Blushing Nude lipstick - I love my nudes ;)
• Urban Decay Naked Basics - I've been reaching for this more and more for an everyday matte look

June Favourites 2016

Summer is officially here and the weather is heating up. For the month of June I have been loving bright sheer lips and a bit of a copper glow. We can't forget that glow life too! Here is a list of what I have been LOVING!

• Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - this stuff sticks on!

• One of my HG mascaras - Cover Girl Lash Blast in the original Orange packaging. This stuff won't budge.
• Physicians Formula Argan Oil - I've been getting into oils recently and this one is pretty good. I also like their argan oil lip oils.

April Favourites 2016

Happy May!! It's that time of the month again where we share our favourites from the past month. April was a nice month and now we are into May. For the month of April I got my hands on some goodies that I absolutely fell in love with. Most of them are drugstore and inexpensive!

• Cover Girl Tru Naked eyeshadow palette in Nudes - I also have the goldens palette but I like the colors in the Nudes one better
• W&W Countouring Palette - formula is so buttery and nice!
• UD Sheer Lipstick in Anarchy for that POP of Pink
• Milani Luminoso Blush for the glow!
• Maybelline Master Countour palette - at first I wasn't too sure about this product but then I fell in love. Pigmented and easily blendable!
• ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Stain in Dopey - FINALLY got my hands on this!
• ColourPop eyeshadow in Amaze - this is a gorgeous copper shade & I LOVE the formula

March Favourites 2016

It's April and Spring is here! The weather here has been really on and off. Some days have been cloudy and some have been sunny and quite warm. I love the Spring and Summer months. So for the month of March I've been loving a mix of oldies and new goodies.

• Urban Decay Naked 3 - in love with the rose gold tones
• Nivea Men Shave Balm - amazing primer and cheap compared to some other brands out there
• Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation - medium buildable coverage. I am almost done with this bottle! I've used it almost everyday in the month of March.
• MAC Painterly Paint Pot - One of my HG products that I fell back in love in as a eyeshadow base
• Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - by the huge dent you can see that I've really enjoyed this product
• Milani Rose D'oro Blush - gives a pretty glow
• Kat Von D - Bow & Arrow Liquid Lipstick! Finally got my hands on this gorgeous neutral lip color and am in loveee
• ABH Dainty Lipgloss - so ABH launched fully at Sephora in March and I went HAM on their products. This is one of my favorite lip gloss at the moment.
• MAC Soar Lip Liner an oldie but a goodie

Boxing Day 2014 Sephora Haul

Hello lovely people! First off I would like to say a very Happy New Year to everyone. I can't believe that we are already in the second week of 2015! I am sorry for not blogging that much recently, I have just been catching up on some items on my to-do list and just enjoying the Holidays with my friends and family. I hope you all had a great Holiday as well.

Over the break I did do some shopping, nothing too crazy but of course I had to grab some items from Sephora. During Boxing Day (December 26th) Sephora had some items on sale in store for $12 each. I personally thought they were quite the steal so I had to grab some items. Here is what I got:

February 2014 Favourites

HOLY SMOKES! Where did February go?! Seriously though this month went by super fast, I really can't believe we are almost 1/4 through the year... Anyways... on to the favourites before I start rambling too much and it becomes March favourites haha...

For the month of February I tried to go a little more natural / neutral colours. I am officially in love with the Hourglass ambient light powders and am so happy that I was able to get my hands on this trio. Here are a few of my other faves:
