Current Favourites (March, April & May!)

So... I've been gone for a hot minute! 3 months to be exact. Boy time is flying by and I can't believe we are already in June. Half the year is gone. Hope everyone is doing well :) For the past few months my makeup has changed and I've been trying to use up some items in my collection plus try out some new things. Here are just a few things that I have been loving currently.

• Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 - an oldie but a goodie!
• Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer - this stuff makes my skin look so smooth. I guess that is why the call it "perfecting" LOL
• Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Full Coverage Foundation - Awesome coverage and lasting power.
• Too Faced Sweet Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Pure Peach - Moisturizing and sheer pigmentation but still pretty. This has made yet another appearance on my favourtes!
• Maybelline Colossal Big Shot - I use this almost everyday... I think I should retire it soon.
• MAC Eyeliner in Smoulder
• Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion
• Essence Light up your face luminizer palette - This gives you a subtle highlight and you can mix the three luminizers
• PF Butter Bronzer - Smells so good!
• MAC Melba Blush
• Milani Luminoso Blush 
• CP Highlighter in Smokin' Whisltes - gorgeous highlight if you like cream highlights.
• Maybelline Lipsticks in Blushing Beige, Ravishing Rose & Lust for Blush

April Favourites 2016

Happy May!! It's that time of the month again where we share our favourites from the past month. April was a nice month and now we are into May. For the month of April I got my hands on some goodies that I absolutely fell in love with. Most of them are drugstore and inexpensive!

• Cover Girl Tru Naked eyeshadow palette in Nudes - I also have the goldens palette but I like the colors in the Nudes one better
• W&W Countouring Palette - formula is so buttery and nice!
• UD Sheer Lipstick in Anarchy for that POP of Pink
• Milani Luminoso Blush for the glow!
• Maybelline Master Countour palette - at first I wasn't too sure about this product but then I fell in love. Pigmented and easily blendable!
• ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Stain in Dopey - FINALLY got my hands on this!
• ColourPop eyeshadow in Amaze - this is a gorgeous copper shade & I LOVE the formula

March Favourites 2016

It's April and Spring is here! The weather here has been really on and off. Some days have been cloudy and some have been sunny and quite warm. I love the Spring and Summer months. So for the month of March I've been loving a mix of oldies and new goodies.

• Urban Decay Naked 3 - in love with the rose gold tones
• Nivea Men Shave Balm - amazing primer and cheap compared to some other brands out there
• Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation - medium buildable coverage. I am almost done with this bottle! I've used it almost everyday in the month of March.
• MAC Painterly Paint Pot - One of my HG products that I fell back in love in as a eyeshadow base
• Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - by the huge dent you can see that I've really enjoyed this product
• Milani Rose D'oro Blush - gives a pretty glow
• Kat Von D - Bow & Arrow Liquid Lipstick! Finally got my hands on this gorgeous neutral lip color and am in loveee
• ABH Dainty Lipgloss - so ABH launched fully at Sephora in March and I went HAM on their products. This is one of my favorite lip gloss at the moment.
• MAC Soar Lip Liner an oldie but a goodie

February Favourites 2016

Happy Leap Year! February was a pretty good month. Took a trip to Vegas for a couple of days and picked up the ABH That Glow palette which as you can see is one of my favourites of the month along with a few other goodies. 

• Carli Bybel Palette by BH Cosmetics is so gorgeous. I love the eyeshadows because they are creamy and blendable and the colours are awesome. The highlighters are amazing as well.
• Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - this is pretty nice for brightening up your undereyes
• Rimmel Matte Powder - for when you wanna be MATTE
• Milani Naked Matte Lipstick
• Loreal Fairest Nude Lipstick - do you see a trend of what I enjoyed wearing in Feb?
• The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer
• Tarte Lights Camera Splashes - LOVE this mascara and it's very waterproof

January 2016 / Recent Favourites

Hello! So, I am super late on the whole January favourites. I mean where did half of February go? It has been a pretty busy month and a half for sure. Starting 2016 off with a bang. I've been trying out some new products as well and falling back in love with some old faves. And here they are...

• BH Cosmetics x Carli Bybel Palette - OMG! So gorgeous and the highlighters are on point!
• Milani Baked Blush in Rose d'Oro
• Nivea Men After Shave Balm (for Primer)- NikkieTutorials made me do it and I love love love it... even the slight man sent which eventually goes away ;)

• Loreal Voluminous Mascara - Oldie but a goodie!
• YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis in #7
• Revlon Matte HD Lipcolor in Devotion
• Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - for brightening up the face
• ABH Brow Wiz - took this on vacation and love it!

September Favourites 2015

Hello Lovelies! Fall is officially here and September has come and gone. I've been transitioning out of the summer bright colours and more into the bronzey warm fall colours. Here are a few of the items that I have been loving!

• Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
• Tarte off the cuff palette - I've got my eyes on the new holiday palette. I love tarte blushes :)
• Fit Me Matte +Poreless Foudation
• Essence Gel Eye Pencil in Black Blaze - I recently found this at the drugstore and am loving it. I have it in a few other jewel tone colours as well.
• Maybelline Lash Sensational
• Revlon Red Velvet Lip Butter - LOVE!
• Loreal Fairest Nude - Oldie but a goodie
• Milani Uptown Mauve
• MAC Whirl Lip Liner - have been loving lining my lips with this and pairing with a nice nude lipstick like Loreal's fairest nude

Yay! It's that time of the month again... FAVES time :) But where the heck did July go? Seriously! The Summer needs to slow down a bit. The weather here has bee gorgeous and hot hot hot but this summer is just flying by so fast. So many things to do so little time. Favourite Drugstore Lipsticks for Summer

In the summer months I love wearing bright pink and coral lippies. A pop of colour on the lips with a neutral eye and glowing skin is what I usually go for in the summer months. Here are a few of my faves from the drugstore.

It's that time of the month again! June favourites. In the month of June I've been really trying to use up some items. One example would be the blush in this picture... I hit pan! Woot... Here is what I have been loving in the month of June.

Lippies in my purse

I'm one of those girls who carry a bazillion lip products in their bags. I use one for the day and then throw it into my purse where it stays there for a long period of time. At the moment these are the ones that I am carrying around.

MAC Rebel Dupes & Holiday Berry Lips

Swatches From Left to Right:

Overall in terms of pigmentation and consistency I felt that Milani's Sangria was the closest match to MAC's Rebel lipstick. The others were pretty close and I would give 2nd and 3rd place to the Wet & Wild lipsticks. Blissful Berry & Revlon's Crush were close in tone but they were a bit more sheer than Rebel. These are very nice lip choices for the holiday season and I love them all! If you have any holiday lip suggestions please let me know by tweeting, facebooking, instagraming... anything haha! My Top Lipstick Faves!

Two posts in a row? What?! lol Here are some of my favourite lipsticks in terms of colour and formulation. I have always been a fan of MAC lipsticks so of course I had to have a few of them on here :) List & swatches are below. April Favourites 2013

For the month of April I've been shopping my stash and bringing out some old but awesome goodies. I've also mixed in some new ones just for fun :)

• Stila "the it girl" palette - I got this a year or so ago. Totally in love with the colour Kitten. It is such a pretty shimmery champagne and I love it for a wash of colour on the lids.
• MAC eyeliner in Smoulder - a nice soft black. It tends to smudge on me but I like setting it with a black shadow.
• Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso - I finally gave in a bought this blush and it is freakin beautiful! Gives a very nice glow to the cheeks.
• MAC MSF in By Candlelight - This is a gorgeous highlighter and I've used it soo much but it barely has a dent in it. 
• Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal in Barely Branded and Inked in Pink - I've been loving these colours for the Spring months. Light wash of colour and also under eyeshadow.
• NYX Blush in Peach - Gorgeous kinda matte blush. It's a pretty pink and perfect for Spring!
• MAC eyeshadow in Amber Lights & Satin Taupe
• L'oreal True Match Lumi in W5 - Love the amount of coverage it gives which is medium.
• Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine
• Milani Lipstick in Nude Creme - OMG I was so excited when I saw this in stores. It smells like candy and the formula is awesome!
• L'oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara
• Urban Decay All Nighter Spray - Love this for setting my make-up but may try Deslick next time because my skin tends to get a little oily
• Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon - a new one! yay! you know how I love me some lipbutters lol. This is a pretty bright pinky red colour.
• L'oreal Colour Riche in Blushing Sequin - Lovely bright pink colour!!

Phew that was kinda long! Well those are all my faves for the month of April. I can't believe how fast April went and now its May and my Birthday month eeps!
