August & September 2017 Faves

Wow! This year has just been flying by. I can't believe I haven't posted in over 2 months! That is crazy! I've been trying to use up some of my collection lately and have been gravitating towards some old favourites and holy grail products. The theme of this post is my August and September faves but it is really my current faves as they are products that I am still using and loving in October.

• Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette - I just love how these shadows smell and blend
• PUR Soiree Diaries - I got this in a Boxycharm box and am in love with the shades and pigmentation
• Zoeeva Cocoa Blend Palette - I have my go to shades ;)
• NARS Radiant Concealer - LOVE!
• Urban Decay Naked Concealer - Also LOVE!
• Jouer Highlighter in Topaz - this stuff will give you a glow!
• Make Up Forever Pro Sculpting Duo in #2
• Hoola Bronzer
• Benefit Bella Bamba Blush - gives a nice flush and glow
• MAC Melba Blush
• MAC Modern Mandarin Blush
• Loreal Lash Paradise - this does remind me of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Current Favourites (March, April & May!)

So... I've been gone for a hot minute! 3 months to be exact. Boy time is flying by and I can't believe we are already in June. Half the year is gone. Hope everyone is doing well :) For the past few months my makeup has changed and I've been trying to use up some items in my collection plus try out some new things. Here are just a few things that I have been loving currently.

• Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 - an oldie but a goodie!
• Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer - this stuff makes my skin look so smooth. I guess that is why the call it "perfecting" LOL
• Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Full Coverage Foundation - Awesome coverage and lasting power.
• Too Faced Sweet Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Pure Peach - Moisturizing and sheer pigmentation but still pretty. This has made yet another appearance on my favourtes!
• Maybelline Colossal Big Shot - I use this almost everyday... I think I should retire it soon.
• MAC Eyeliner in Smoulder
• Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion
• Essence Light up your face luminizer palette - This gives you a subtle highlight and you can mix the three luminizers
• PF Butter Bronzer - Smells so good!
• MAC Melba Blush
• Milani Luminoso Blush 
• CP Highlighter in Smokin' Whisltes - gorgeous highlight if you like cream highlights.
• Maybelline Lipsticks in Blushing Beige, Ravishing Rose & Lust for Blush

October Favourites 2016

Half the month has already flown by and the Holiday season is about to be in full swing. I've been trying to shop my stash for the month of October and get through a lot of the deluxe samples I've collected. Here are a few of my faves for the month of October:

• The original LORAC Pro palette - this is one of my HG palettes
• MAC Sheer Pressed Powder - I've been loving this to dust over my foundation
• Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara - I usually go for waterproof mascaras but this one is pretty good!
• Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil - My skin has been acting up lately and this oil has given back the moisture it needs
• ColourPop Smoke n Whistles Highlighter
• Sephora Passionate Blush
• Benefit Hoola Bronzer - another HG product
• Buxom Gloss in Sophia
• Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita - gorgeous for the Fall
• ABH liquid lipstick in Craft - LOVES!
• NARS Radiant Concealer - Amazing! I love the coverage and glow it gives. This will be coming with me on Vacation.

Sephora Wishlist

I've been browsing through the Sephora site and putting things in my "Loves" list. Here are a few items that I have my eye on but haven't made the jump to purchase. I'm on a Sephora No Buy at the moment lol.

• Cover FX Custom Cover Drops - for mixing in with my moisturizer
• Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette - how cute is the packaging?
• Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow & Arrow - this has been sold out for the longest time and I can never find it in stores. Gorgeous colour!
• Sephora Collection Radiant Luminizing Drops - I want to wear this under a powder highlighter or mixed in with my foundation.

September Favourites 2015

Hello Lovelies! Fall is officially here and September has come and gone. I've been transitioning out of the summer bright colours and more into the bronzey warm fall colours. Here are a few of the items that I have been loving!

• Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
• Tarte off the cuff palette - I've got my eyes on the new holiday palette. I love tarte blushes :)
• Fit Me Matte +Poreless Foudation
• Essence Gel Eye Pencil in Black Blaze - I recently found this at the drugstore and am loving it. I have it in a few other jewel tone colours as well.
• Maybelline Lash Sensational
• Revlon Red Velvet Lip Butter - LOVE!
• Loreal Fairest Nude - Oldie but a goodie
• Milani Uptown Mauve
• MAC Whirl Lip Liner - have been loving lining my lips with this and pairing with a nice nude lipstick like Loreal's fairest nude

Back to School Makeup (Quick & Easy)

It's that time of year again... back to school :) Some of you may already be back in school and for some of you its very soon (even though you might not want it to be). I just wanted to share some of my fave products for a quick makeup look - perfect for school or even when you are late for work!

• Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette - gorgeous eyeshadows for a quick sweep on the lids
• Cover Girl Full Bloom Mascara - great for really opening up the eyes
• BB Cream - I love BB creams because you can slap it on without the need of a brush so its very quick and easy
• ELF Concealer - if you need a little bit more coverage
• Clinique Cheek Pops in Plum Pop - I love these blushes! So easy to apply and such pretty colors
• Cover Girl Smoochies - perfect for a pop of color on the lips and goes on so smooth
• Maybelline Fit Me powder - I really love this powder :)

Sephora VIB Sale Haul 2013

So, I picked up a few things from the Sephora VIB sale that ran in the beginning of the month. Now, I am banned from Sephora until next year! Haha, let's see how long that will last :P Anyway, I picked up a few palettes and a few holiday sets. I don't think I went tooo crazy this year... Now on to what I purchased:

• Soft Lights Powder in Shimmer - This is all Jacilyn Hill from YouTube's fault!
• Naked Skin Foundation - I have been wanting to try this foundation out since it first came out
• NARS Guy Bourdin One Night Stand Blush Palette (even though I already have a blush or two)
• Kat Von D Spellbinding Palette - I was mesmerized by the colors!
• Too Faced A Few of My Favorite Things Palette - I love Too Faced, so of course I had to get this!
• Buxom Dolly's Opening Act Lip Gloss Set - SO PRETTY! And great price point in my opinion.
• Sephora #56 Pro Face Brush - Loving this for foundation.

Too Faced: Pretty Rebel (Swatches)

I purchased this palette about a month or more ago. I have used the lighter / brown shades for a look so far but still want to play around with the other colors. I initially bought this palette for the colors, especially the hot pink because it was pretty unique. Overall, I really like the formulation of the shadows however some of the lighter and darker shades were a little powdery when I did the swatches. Also, I wish the lighter shades were a bit more pigmented but it is still a nice palette. Do any of you have this palette? What are your opinions on it?
