January Favourites 2012

Again, I am late with my favourites of the month :P I really should get on this faster haha... Anyways I only had a few favourites for the month of January that I constantly reached for and they are as follows:
  • NYC Sunny Bronzer
  • Revlon Lipbutter in Strawberry Shortcake
  • Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub (my lips have been extremely chapped and this scrub has helped me get rid of all the nasty chapped skin)
  • MAC MSF in By Candlelight (Oldie but definitely a goodie for highlighting)
  • Sigma E60 Large Shader brush (absolute lovee!)
  • Tarina Tarantino Eyedream Highlight Duo in Iris Plume / Moon Opal (super pigmented, super gorgeous)
  • Rimmel London Lasting Finish powder blush in Pink Sorbet (lovely everyday cheek colour)
Those are all my favourites for the month of January :) I would love to know yours so please leave a comment or tweet me some of your faves and maybe I will try them out! I love suggestions!

Coming up I will have a Revlon Lipbutter collection / mini review <3

December Faves 2011

Ok... So I am a bit late with my favorites of the month for December. But better late then never :) Anyways, for the month of December I have been loving the above pictured products and used them almost everyday during the month. There may have been a couple days where I used some other products but for the most part these were the products that I constantly reached for.
  • Sigma Travel Brush Kit in Tokyo (Limited Edition)
  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance
  • Baby Lips (Peach Kiss, Quenched & Pink Punch)
  • Benefit Bad Gal Mascara
  • Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes
  • Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose
  • Physicians Formula Happy Booster Boosting Powder in Bronzer
  • Maybelline Eyestudio in Copper Chic
I enjoyed using these products in the month of December. My lips get really dry in the cold so I am in constant need of lip balm. I found that Maybelline's Baby Lips gave me the hint of color I wanted while being extremely moisturizing (well at least in my opinion). I went for a more natural look in December with just a bit of glow and the Physicians Formula blush and boosting powder helped me achieve that. Plus, I really like the way that the product smells haha :) I absolutely am in love with Too Faced Shadow Insurance, it kept my shadow on for awhile and really prevented any creasing.

Sigma Mini Haul

My haul from Sigma! I received my beautiful brushes about a week ago but haven't had the time to post a blog about it. I ordered the Make Me Cool  Professional Brush Kit & the limited edition The Cities Tokyo Travel Kit. My first impressions of these brushes are that they are pretty good quality for the prices. I have used some of the eye brushes and the face brushes from the Make Me Cool set and they are very soft and apply the product quite well. I have already washed all the brushes and did not see much shedding of bristles. I compared the softness of the brushes to some of my MAC brushes and they are quite comparable, not exact dupes but still very good quality.

The Make Me Cool brush set comes with 5 Face brushes & 7 Eye brushes for a total of 12 brushes. I have used most of the eye brushes and am loving them. The Tokyo Cities brush set comes with 3 Face brushes and 4 Eye brushes and the quality of these brushes are just the same as the full sized ones. Overall, I think that these brushes are quite a good investment for those who do not want to spend 50 dollars on one MAC brush. Also, these brushes are great for those people who are just starting out with Make Up or who are thinking of becoming make-up artists :)

Happy New Years! See you in 2012 <3
