September Favourites 2015

Hello Lovelies! Fall is officially here and September has come and gone. I've been transitioning out of the summer bright colours and more into the bronzey warm fall colours. Here are a few of the items that I have been loving!

• Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
• Tarte off the cuff palette - I've got my eyes on the new holiday palette. I love tarte blushes :)
• Fit Me Matte +Poreless Foudation
• Essence Gel Eye Pencil in Black Blaze - I recently found this at the drugstore and am loving it. I have it in a few other jewel tone colours as well.
• Maybelline Lash Sensational
• Revlon Red Velvet Lip Butter - LOVE!
• Loreal Fairest Nude - Oldie but a goodie
• Milani Uptown Mauve
• MAC Whirl Lip Liner - have been loving lining my lips with this and pairing with a nice nude lipstick like Loreal's fairest nude

August Favourites 2015

I can't believe August is over and Summer 2015 is coming to an end. On the other hand I can't wait for Fall... vampy lips, boots and comfy sweaters. The month of August I was obsessed with lip products (ok I am always obsessed with lip products) and I really loved shopping my collection. Some of the products that I fell in love again with were the Revlon balms! I love me some jumbo pencil lip products because they are easy to apply and come in so many pretty colours and finishes. Now... enough with my babble and on to my faves!

Favourite Drugstore Lipsticks for Summer

In the summer months I love wearing bright pink and coral lippies. A pop of colour on the lips with a neutral eye and glowing skin is what I usually go for in the summer months. Here are a few of my faves from the drugstore.

Lippies in my purse

I'm one of those girls who carry a bazillion lip products in their bags. I use one for the day and then throw it into my purse where it stays there for a long period of time. At the moment these are the ones that I am carrying around.

April 2014 Favourites

Hellooo my lovelies! Long time no post >.< totally my fault and I am also late for my monthly favourites (but what is new haha). For the month of April I was really into bold pink lips which is evident in my favourites. I also tried to shop my stash a bit more and have found that I am really loving my drugstore products. December Favourites 2013

Finalllllyyy! I am getting my favourites for December 2013 up... I'm only one week late. FAIL! I hope everyone had a a fun and safe New Years. I am looking forward to what 2014 has in store. There were a few items I was really enjoying for the Holiday season and they were:

• Lorac PRO palette - These eyeshadows are so butter smooth and pigmented
• Naked 3 - Of course! I love rosey / pink tones
• MAC MSF in Stereo Rose - This is L/E but they sometimes bring it back in different collections
• Garnier BB Cream - I've been using BB cream instead of foundation because my skin has been really dry due to the cold
• EOS Lip Balm in Mint
• Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms in Vivacious (bright reddish pink) & Demure (nude)
• Rimmel Apocalips in Stellar - great bright lip!
• Make-up Forever Aqua Lash - This stuff stays on your lash like nothing i've ever tried before...
• Maybelline Fit Me concealer - loves this!

MAC Rebel Dupes & Holiday Berry Lips

Overall in terms of pigmentation and consistency I felt that Milani's Sangria was the closest match to MAC's Rebel lipstick. The others were pretty close and I would give 2nd and 3rd place to the Wet & Wild lipsticks. Blissful Berry & Revlon's Crush were close in tone but they were a bit more sheer than Rebel. These are very nice lip choices for the holiday season and I love them all! If you have any holiday lip suggestions please let me know by tweeting, facebooking, instagraming... anything haha! Review: Revlon ColorBurst Matte & Lacquer Balm

These weren't all purchased during one trip but rather 2 or 3 trips to the store. I first started off with Elusive & Whimsical as my first purchases. I really loved Elusive which was the matte nude pink and whimsical was a great holiday color. So, naturally I wanted more! The pigmentation of the matte colors are awesome! Lasting power was alright in my opinion. It lasted a few hours on my lips (the matte ones lasted longer than the lacquer ones). The matte formula is pretty which is another thing I loved about them. They did dry out my lips a little but applying lip balm really helped with that issue. Overall, I think theses lippies are great and definitely worth the try!

October Favourites 2013

It is that time of the month again! Time for favourites woo woo! haha I hope you all had a lovely October. The holiday season is quickly approaching and I am just so excited to spend more time with family and friends. One last announcement before I get into my faves for the month... Fall 2013: Drugstore Lipsticks

The first day of Fall is in a couple of days and I've been going through my clothes & make-up to transition into the new season. Here are some drugstore lip products that I think are great for the upcoming Fall season. I love berries and pinky nude lips for the Fall time. What do you guys like wearing? What is in my: Everyday Make-up Bag

I think I carry too many make-up items in my purse and to prove it here is a post on what is in my everyday make-up bag. I usually take this with me in my purse and use the items to touch up throughout the day.

April Favourites 2013

For the month of April I've been shopping my stash and bringing out some old but awesome goodies. I've also mixed in some new ones just for fun :)

• Stila "the it girl" palette - I got this a year or so ago. Totally in love with the colour Kitten. It is such a pretty shimmery champagne and I love it for a wash of colour on the lids.
• MAC eyeliner in Smoulder - a nice soft black. It tends to smudge on me but I like setting it with a black shadow.
• Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso - I finally gave in a bought this blush and it is freakin beautiful! Gives a very nice glow to the cheeks.
• MAC MSF in By Candlelight - This is a gorgeous highlighter and I've used it soo much but it barely has a dent in it. 
• Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal in Barely Branded and Inked in Pink - I've been loving these colours for the Spring months. Light wash of colour and also under eyeshadow.
• NYX Blush in Peach - Gorgeous kinda matte blush. It's a pretty pink and perfect for Spring!
• MAC eyeshadow in Amber Lights & Satin Taupe
• L'oreal True Match Lumi in W5 - Love the amount of coverage it gives which is medium.
• Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine
• Milani Lipstick in Nude Creme - OMG I was so excited when I saw this in stores. It smells like candy and the formula is awesome!
• L'oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara
• Urban Decay All Nighter Spray - Love this for setting my make-up but may try Deslick next time because my skin tends to get a little oily
• Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon - a new one! yay! you know how I love me some lipbutters lol. This is a pretty bright pinky red colour.
• L'oreal Colour Riche in Blushing Sequin - Lovely bright pink colour!!

Phew that was kinda long! Well those are all my faves for the month of April. I can't believe how fast April went and now its May and my Birthday month eeps! February 2013 Favourites

I'm a little behind on my favourites (again! no surprises :P) lol. For the month of February I have been trying out some Cover Girl products. When I first started using make-up I had started with some Cover Girl powder and then expanded from there. But as I moved on to other brands I sort of forgot all about Cover Girl... Well except for the lash blast mascara which I still love. Anyways, they have come out with some great products recently and they have made it into my favourites for February! Yay!

• Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation in 920 Creamy Natural - I really like the coverage it gives
• Cover Girl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Coral Twist - Sorta sheer coverage but very nice on the lips :)
• MAC 109 & 217 Brushes - I love the 109 for contouring and the 217 for applying and blending eyeshadow (I can't believe it has taken me this long to purchase the 217!)
• Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Kajal liner in Black - This is a pretty creamy liner that you can smudge to create a nice smokey eye.
• Revlon Colorstay Nail Polish in Blue Slate - I have been loving this blue on my nails!
• Maybelline Vivids in Pink Pop - WOW such a pretty hot pink lipstick!
• Loreal Infalliable Eye Shadow in Amber Rush - Such a pretty wash of colour on the lids.
