March Favourites 2016

It's April and Spring is here! The weather here has been really on and off. Some days have been cloudy and some have been sunny and quite warm. I love the Spring and Summer months. So for the month of March I've been loving a mix of oldies and new goodies.

• Urban Decay Naked 3 - in love with the rose gold tones
• Nivea Men Shave Balm - amazing primer and cheap compared to some other brands out there
• Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation - medium buildable coverage. I am almost done with this bottle! I've used it almost everyday in the month of March.
• MAC Painterly Paint Pot - One of my HG products that I fell back in love in as a eyeshadow base
• Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - by the huge dent you can see that I've really enjoyed this product
• Milani Rose D'oro Blush - gives a pretty glow
• Kat Von D - Bow & Arrow Liquid Lipstick! Finally got my hands on this gorgeous neutral lip color and am in loveee
• ABH Dainty Lipgloss - so ABH launched fully at Sephora in March and I went HAM on their products. This is one of my favorite lip gloss at the moment.
• MAC Soar Lip Liner an oldie but a goodie

February Favourites 2016

Happy Leap Year! February was a pretty good month. Took a trip to Vegas for a couple of days and picked up the ABH That Glow palette which as you can see is one of my favourites of the month along with a few other goodies. 

• Carli Bybel Palette by BH Cosmetics is so gorgeous. I love the eyeshadows because they are creamy and blendable and the colours are awesome. The highlighters are amazing as well.
• Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - this is pretty nice for brightening up your undereyes
• Rimmel Matte Powder - for when you wanna be MATTE
• Milani Naked Matte Lipstick
• Loreal Fairest Nude Lipstick - do you see a trend of what I enjoyed wearing in Feb?
• The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer
• Tarte Lights Camera Splashes - LOVE this mascara and it's very waterproof

August Favourites 2015

I can't believe August is over and Summer 2015 is coming to an end. On the other hand I can't wait for Fall... vampy lips, boots and comfy sweaters. The month of August I was obsessed with lip products (ok I am always obsessed with lip products) and I really loved shopping my collection. Some of the products that I fell in love again with were the Revlon balms! I love me some jumbo pencil lip products because they are easy to apply and come in so many pretty colours and finishes. Now... enough with my babble and on to my faves!

July 2015 Favourites

Yay! It's that time of the month again... FAVES time :) But where the heck did July go? Seriously! The Summer needs to slow down a bit. The weather here has bee gorgeous and hot hot hot but this summer is just flying by so fast. So many things to do so little time. First Drugstore Haul of 2015

Hello again lovelies! This is my first drugstore haul for 2015. I haven't actually bought that much drugstore makeup recently but I went today and couldn't pass up some of the sales they were having. • Loreal Miss Manga Mascara - this one was a repurchase because I actually like the wand and how it makes my lashes look
• Cover Girl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation - this was also a repurchase because I really liked the medium coverage and the way it made my skin looked. I am almost finished with my last tube.

• Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation - not sure if this is new or just new packaging :P

May 2014 Favourites & My 100th Post!

It's that time of the month again! Woooo... and also this is my 100th post :) For the month of May I got into bronzing a bit more. In the warmer months my skin tends to get a little more oily / combo so I tend to gravitate to dryer / matte products. These are some of my faves for the month of May:

For the month of April I was really into bold pink lips which is evident in my favourites. I also tried to shop my stash a bit more and have found that I am really loving my drugstore products. January 2014 Favourites

I know, I know... I'm horrible and super late with this! So sorry! The month of January & February has been super busy for me. I know that is no excuse for neglecting my blog though. I need to manage my time better... Anyways, enough with the rambling and excuses and on to the faves from January which was about half a month ago! Time is flying! • The OG Urban Decay Naked Palette - I've hit pan on the colour sin!
• MAC Naked Lunch - this is my second one & one of my holy grail eyeshadows
• Lancome Definicil Mascara
• Maybelline Nude List Lipstick - I am liking the nude collection
• Victoria's Secret - Pure Seduction body spray - Got this during the semi annual sale and am loving it!

December Favourites 2013

Finalllllyyy! I am getting my favourites for December 2013 up... I'm only one week late. FAIL! I hope everyone had a a fun and safe New Years. I am looking forward to what 2014 has in store. There were a few items I was really enjoying for the Holiday season and they were:

• Lorac PRO palette - These eyeshadows are so butter smooth and pigmented
• Naked 3 - Of course! I love rosey / pink tones
• MAC MSF in Stereo Rose - This is L/E but they sometimes bring it back in different collections
• Garnier BB Cream - I've been using BB cream instead of foundation because my skin has been really dry due to the cold
• EOS Lip Balm in Mint
• Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms in Vivacious (bright reddish pink) & Demure (nude)
• Rimmel Apocalips in Stellar - great bright lip!
• Make-up Forever Aqua Lash - This stuff stays on your lash like nothing i've ever tried before...
• Maybelline Fit Me concealer - loves this!

September Favourites 2013

I think I carry too many make-up items in my purse and to prove it here is a post on what is in my everyday make-up bag. I usually take this with me in my purse and use the items to touch up throughout the day.

July 2013 Favourites

I am totally late on this. My bad! :( I can't believe August is almost half way through... Fall will come knocking very soon. The weather in Vancouver has been incredible these past few weeks and I've been spending a lot of time outside and just enjoying the weather. Vancouver doesn't see much sun the rest of the year... But hopefully the sunshine will stay at least for a few more weeks. Anyway... on to my favourites for the month of July. I focused on quick and easy make-up looks in July because I spent a lot of time outside sweating :P

February 2013 Favourites

I'm a little behind on my favourites (again! no surprises :P) lol. For the month of February I have been trying out some Cover Girl products. When I first started using make-up I had started with some Cover Girl powder and then expanded from there. But as I moved on to other brands I sort of forgot all about Cover Girl... Well except for the lash blast mascara which I still love. Anyways, they have come out with some great products recently and they have made it into my favourites for February! Yay!

• Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation in 920 Creamy Natural - I really like the coverage it gives
• Cover Girl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Coral Twist - Sorta sheer coverage but very nice on the lips :)
• MAC 109 & 217 Brushes - I love the 109 for contouring and the 217 for applying and blending eyeshadow (I can't believe it has taken me this long to purchase the 217!)
• Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Kajal liner in Black - This is a pretty creamy liner that you can smudge to create a nice smokey eye.
• Revlon Colorstay Nail Polish in Blue Slate - I have been loving this blue on my nails!
• Maybelline Vivids in Pink Pop - WOW such a pretty hot pink lipstick!
• Loreal Infalliable Eye Shadow in Amber Rush - Such a pretty wash of colour on the lids.

January 2013 Favourites

I am super late in posting this up! I know, I'm sorrry :( I hope everyone has had a lovely January and are having an even better February. I can't believe we are almost half way through February already. Where is time flying off to? Anyways, just wanted to share some things I have been loving for the month of January... • Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream - I bought this and used it for a bit but then I forgot about it... picked it back up in January and have been using it almost everyday for a quick on the go make-up look.
• ELF Powder Brush - I have been loving applying my foundation / BB cream with this brush. It is only $3!! How great is that?!
• Smashbox Blush in Flushed - gives a beautiful glow and I love it!
• Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - This powder has been my go to powder for a while. I love it and definitely will be repurchasing as I am almost done with this one haha.
• Korres Lipbutter in Jasmine - LOVE the smell of this stuff and it makes my lips so smooth especially in the colder months.
• MAC MSF in By Candlelight - this is limited edition but I think Soft & Gentle is similar to this and it just gives your face that nice glow.
• MAC Bronzer in Golden - Just a nice bronzer for the face ya know haha :)
• Loreal Nailpolish in Members Only - OMG such a hot pink beautiful polish!
• Lancome Definicil Mascara - Love love love... that is all! 
• Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm stain in Honey - I think this is such a pretty natural nude colour for everyday.
