October Favourites 2016

Half the month has already flown by and the Holiday season is about to be in full swing. I've been trying to shop my stash for the month of October and get through a lot of the deluxe samples I've collected. Here are a few of my faves for the month of October:

• The original LORAC Pro palette - this is one of my HG palettes
• MAC Sheer Pressed Powder - I've been loving this to dust over my foundation
• Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara - I usually go for waterproof mascaras but this one is pretty good!
• Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil - My skin has been acting up lately and this oil has given back the moisture it needs
• ColourPop Smoke n Whistles Highlighter
• Sephora Passionate Blush
• Benefit Hoola Bronzer - another HG product
• Buxom Gloss in Sophia
• Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita - gorgeous for the Fall
• ABH liquid lipstick in Craft - LOVES!
• NARS Radiant Concealer - Amazing! I love the coverage and glow it gives. This will be coming with me on Vacation.

June Favourites 2016

Summer is officially here and the weather is heating up. For the month of June I have been loving bright sheer lips and a bit of a copper glow. We can't forget that glow life too! Here is a list of what I have been LOVING!

• MAC Amber Lights E/S
• Urban Decay Sheer Lipsticks in Streak & Anarchy - I believe they have these in the new Vice lipsticks too!
• ColourPop Blush in Prenup
• ColourPop highlight in Smokin' Whistles - did anyone get their hands on Churro?!
• ColourPop E/S in Amaze - Already hit pan!!
• Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - this stuff sticks on!
• W&W Brulee E/S great for blending
• NYX E/S in Fireball
• One of my HG mascaras - Cover Girl Lash Blast in the original Orange packaging. This stuff won't budge.
• Physicians Formula Argan Oil - I've been getting into oils recently and this one is pretty good. I also like their argan oil lip oils.

May 2016 Favourites

Summer is just around the corner!! The month of May really flew by... I've been on a highlight frenzy as of late and the ABH Glow Kits are AMAZING. You can use the highlighters individually or mix them to create your own glow. Here are some of the products I have been loving for the month of May.

• ABH Glow Kit in That Glow
• ABH Contour Kit in Medium
• MAC Blush in Royal Sunset (this may be an LE item)
• Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Mascara - this mascara does not budge at all! It is also the one I wore for my wedding day. AMAZING!
• Cover Girl Lipstick in Hot - gorgeous red!
• NYX Liquid Suedes in Soft Spoken & Tea and Cookies (Left to Right)
• Maybelline Fit Me concealer in Sand - love this for brightening up under the eyes

Review: Carlibybel Palette by BH Cosmetics

I got this beauty a couple of days ago in the mail and was so excited to swatch and try the eyeshadows and highlighters out. I've been a fan of Carli and BH Cosmetics for awhile now and was so happy to hear that they were doing a collab. I did stay up on launch day to get my hands on the palette and am happy that I was able to grab one. First off the colours are gorgeous! Loves me some neutral shades. The highlights have to be my favourite of this palette as they are all super pigmented and amazing! You get 10 eyeshadows and 4 highlights in this palette for a great price. I got mine for $12.50 which was the launch price, I am not sure if the price will change any time soon as the palette is currently out of stock but you can submit your email address to be notified when it comes back in stock at BH Cosmetics.

If you would like to see swatches of all the eyeshadows and highlighters they can be found after the jump below. The eyeshadows were all quite creamy and applied well. I thought some of the darker shades were just a tad bit patchy and needed a couple of application to really stand out but they were blendable and lovely for the price of this palette. As I noted above the highlights were my fave! They applied so well with one swipe and were super pigmented.

Overall, this palette is definitely awesome with a price that is equally as awesome! The shades are great for the fall season too as it has some purples and warm tones. Have you guys tried this palette out or have plans to purchase? I would love to hear about your experiences with this palette!

Collective Sephora & MAC Haul

For the past couple of months I have been picking up some items here and there from MAC and Sephora. The haul you see here comes from a few trips to MAC / Sephora & Online. First off the MAC items:

• MAC fix + in the Yuzu scent - I really wanted the rose or coconut one but they were sold out at both MAC stores by my house :(
• MAC lipsticks in Brave, Whirl, Men like mystery, D for Danger, and Dangerous - do you see a theme here? LOL
• MAC Liners in Edge to Edge, Beet, Redd & Magenta - I went a little liner crazy!
• MAC Extra Dimension Shadows in A Naturual Flirt & Amorous Alloy

And now on to the Sephora Haul. I only picked up a couple of items:

• Sephora Lip Cream Stain in Marvellous Mauve - I heard this was a dupe for Patina or Lolita?
• Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette
• Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette Eye
• Becca Champagne Pop Highlight - YES! Becca's collab with the beautiful Jaclyn Hill! I refreshed my browser in what felt like a million times until it finally came in stock on the Sephora Canada site... It was worth it :)

And that are all the items I have purchased in the past few months from Sephora and MAC. My list of loves and wants is still growing but I am holding myself back...
