Too Faced: Pretty Rebel (Swatches)

I purchased this palette about a month or more ago. I have used the lighter / brown shades for a look so far but still want to play around with the other colors. I initially bought this palette for the colors, especially the hot pink because it was pretty unique. Overall, I really like the formulation of the shadows however some of the lighter and darker shades were a little powdery when I did the swatches. Also, I wish the lighter shades were a bit more pigmented but it is still a nice palette. Do any of you have this palette? What are your opinions on it?

Fall Nails: Metro Chic

Fall has officially arrived and I wanted to do my nails a more fall appropiate color. So I decided to go with Sephora by OPI in Metro Chic and for my accent I chose Disco Dolls by Nicole (the Kardashian collection). What are your guys' fave fall nail combos?

Fall 2013: Drugstore Lipsticks

The first day of Fall is in a couple of days and I've been going through my clothes & make-up to transition into the new season. Project "No Buy" September 2013

Okay! This is going to be really really hard for me but I am going to try project "No Buy" for the month of September. If it works then I will extend into November. I really need to finish up some of the products I currently have in my collection. Some rules / steps I am going to follow in September:

1. Organize the make-up I currently have so its easier to access and use
2. Shop my stash - this means use up what I already have
3. Try to stay away from Sephora & Drugstores (this is going to be hard)
4. Haircare can be bought if I am out of what I am currently using

Does anyone have any tips they would like to share? I could use the support :) Wish me luck!

Update (September 16, 2013): Half way through the month and I can happily report I have not purchased a singe make-up item. However, the new MAC RiRi collection and Urban Decay collections are making it very difficult to stay on course!

My Top Lipstick Faves!

Two posts in a row? What?! lol Here are some of my favourite lipsticks in terms of colour and formulation. I have always been a fan of MAC lipsticks so of course I had to have a few of them on here :) List & swatches are below. August 2013 Favourites

It is August favourites time! Also, I have updated the layout for this blog :) let me know what you guys think!

These are a few of the products that I have been loving and it includes both drugstore & higher end products.

• Beauty Blender  - I finally gave in and bought this little item and OMG! It is amazing and way better than the "dupes" I had bought. I find that this tool is great for applying a variety of different products.
• Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick - Love this for quick morning coverage
• MAC MSF Natural in Medium Dark - This is my second one and I am still in love with it
• MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Superb - A limited edition item but sometimes it gets re-promoted
• MAC Pressed Pigment in Summer Honey - I believe this was part of a recent collection and it is so pretty!
• Cover Girl lipstick in Fairytale - a lovely pink and the product is great and non-drying on the lips
• NARS Deep Throat Blush - This has been one of my fave blushes for a long time and I started using it again for the month of August
• Loreal Voluminous Full Definition Mascara - Love love love! That is all... lol

These have been some of my most loved products for August. I can't believe Summer is coming to an end. I am not ready for the rain :( Let me know some of your faves and if you are looking forward to Fall.
