Review/My Collection: Revlon Lip Butters

From left to right: Berry Smoothie, Sweet Tart, Cupcake, Strawberry Shortcake, Creme Brulee

Revlon Lipbutters have been pretty popular recently and over the past few months I have been collecting some. At first I was a bit skeptical on how good they were and watched a few reviews where people were saying everything from they were drying to they are awesomeee! The first lipbutter I purchased was in Sweet Tart which is a bright pink. I tried it for a couple days and did notice some drying but nothing to big. The color payoff of the lipbutter is pretty good and it lasted a good amount of time on my lips. After a mixed experience with the Sweet Tart shade I decided to purchase a few others to test them out and to see if they all had that drying effect on my lips. I found that the other colours: Berry Smoothie, Cupcake, Strawberry Shortcake & Creme Brulee were all pretty great! These colours had a bit more shimmer in them than the Sweet Tart but they weren't as drying on my lips and I absolutely lovee the colours! Overall, I do think that these are pretty good lipbutters... good colour payoff, great colour selection, and the longevity is fairly good. However, for pure moisturizing I would rather go for a real lip balm or Maybeline's Baby Lips =)
