Sigma Mini Haul

My haul from Sigma! I received my beautiful brushes about a week ago but haven't had the time to post a blog about it. I ordered the Make Me Cool  Professional Brush Kit & the limited edition The Cities Tokyo Travel Kit. My first impressions of these brushes are that they are pretty good quality for the prices. I have used some of the eye brushes and the face brushes from the Make Me Cool set and they are very soft and apply the product quite well. I have already washed all the brushes and did not see much shedding of bristles. I compared the softness of the brushes to some of my MAC brushes and they are quite comparable, not exact dupes but still very good quality.

The Make Me Cool brush set comes with 5 Face brushes & 7 Eye brushes for a total of 12 brushes. I have used most of the eye brushes and am loving them. The Tokyo Cities brush set comes with 3 Face brushes and 4 Eye brushes and the quality of these brushes are just the same as the full sized ones. Overall, I think that these brushes are quite a good investment for those who do not want to spend 50 dollars on one MAC brush. Also, these brushes are great for those people who are just starting out with Make Up or who are thinking of becoming make-up artists :)

Happy New Years! See you in 2012 <3

Lush HAUL!

Soooo... I went to Lush today and came out with two products :) I was tempted to get the Rockstar Soap but instead decided on getting the Snow Fairy Shower Gel & Lip Scrub in Bubblegum. I have tried the Snow Fairy Shower Gel and I am liking it very much right now. It makes me smell like bubblegum! I have yet to try the lip scrub yet so I may do a review of it later! Overall, I am quite happy with my mini Lush Haul <3

Sephora VIB Gift Card Haul

Some goodies I picked up with my VIB gift card last week. I had to restrain my self from buying a lot more than I did. I think I did quite well and picked up only 4 items. I wanted much much more and my basket was quite full of random things such as another NARS blush, UD Eye Primer and a few eye pencils... But now on to the stuff I did purchase...
  • Tarina Tarintino Jewel Shadow Palette in Diamond Dusk
  • Two Sephora by OPI Blasted polish in Electric Blue & Turqouise
  • My all time fave mascara MUFE Aqua Smoky lash
That is pretty much all I picked up at Sephora last week with my gift card :) I have tried the Turquoise nailpolish over some black polish and it turned out alright. I may do another blog post on that later!

November Faves 2011

"Amber Romance" body mist by Victoria's Secret. I've been wearing this fragrance almost everyday. It has a sweet & fall smell that I am really loving right now :)
"Make Up For Ever" face kabuki. I purchased this during the F&F sale at Sephora. I've been wanting this brush for awhile and finally purchased it :) Its so soft and applies powder products quite well!
"Fairest Nude" Loreal Lipstick. I have been in love with this color ever since I first purchased it. I think it is one of the most "your lips but better" colors at a drugstore price. The only downside would be the smell of it, it has somewhat of a perfume fragrance.
"Super Stay" Maybelline foundation in Honey Beige. I have been using this foundation for most of November and purchased it around the beginning of the month. It has awesome coverage and staying power.
"Voluminous False Lashes" Loreal mascara. Another Loreal product yes! At first I wasn't a huge fan of the formula or brush of this mascara, but, I have grown to love it :) The mascara makes my lashes look really good!
"Lets get Naked" Urban Decay Palette! I really love this e/s palette and have used it consistently ever since I purchased it. I am tempted to purchase another one just for the fun of it :) I also am wanting the Naked 2 palette but have to wait until it comes to Sephora in Canada :(

November Fave NAILS!

My favourite nail combination for the month of November was OPI in "Steady as She Rose" from the Pirates and the Carribean collection, Nicole by OPI in "Scandal, Secrets & Sparkle" from the Gossip Girl collection and of course my all time favourite top coat Seche Vite <3
I love this combination because its neutral with a bit of sparkle!

Homemade Cookies...

So, I was just having a very chill day yesterday while working on some chores / teaching assistant work and decided to light one of the mini candles I had bought at Bath & Body Works (Leaves & Homemade Cookies). I lit the homemade cookie candle and I LOVED it :) My brothers even walked in and was wondering what the good smell was. I am pretty happy with the mini candle and must go back to get the full candle before they are all gone. <3
