Hello & Re-vamp!

Wow! It has been over a year since I last posted on this blog. A lot has changed since then! I just wanted to pop on here and say that I am planning on a re-vamp of this blog (new layout / design & new content). I still have a passion for all things beauty and for this year I want to continue the beauty thing (you can find my latest beauty posts on my instagram! @luvabellcouture) and maybe add on some lifestyle! What do you guys think? But for now things are in the works... Chat soon!

August & September 2017 Faves

Wow! This year has just been flying by. I can't believe I haven't posted in over 2 months! That is crazy! I've been trying to use up some of my collection lately and have been gravitating towards some old favourites and holy grail products. The theme of this post is my August and September faves but it is really my current faves as they are products that I am still using and loving in October.

• Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette - I just love how these shadows smell and blend
• PUR Soiree Diaries - I got this in a Boxycharm box and am in love with the shades and pigmentation
• Zoeeva Cocoa Blend Palette - I have my go to shades ;)
• NARS Radiant Concealer - LOVE!
• Urban Decay Naked Concealer - Also LOVE!
• Jouer Highlighter in Topaz - this stuff will give you a glow!
• Make Up Forever Pro Sculpting Duo in #2
• Hoola Bronzer
• Benefit Bella Bamba Blush - gives a nice flush and glow
• MAC Melba Blush
• MAC Modern Mandarin Blush
• Loreal Lash Paradise - this does remind me of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

These are just a few of my faves for the past couple of months. I would love to hear what yours were. I can't believe the Holidays are just around the corner and have you guys seen all the cute sets that are coming out! I can't wait!

Bite Beauty #TheLiquifiedLipstick

I received these products free through influenster to test out. The shades I got were Flambe, Eclair and Demi Glace. I really enjoyed the formula of this product. It didn't dry down matte but had a bit of a sheen to it. It glided on smoothly on the lips and didn't have a strong scent to it. I love the packaging as it is very sleek and matte. The little color indicator at the tip of the liquid lipstick was very nice too. My favorite shades were Flambe (gorgeous orange red) and Eclair (pink mauve). Demi glace was more of a vampy color which I like from time to time but it just wasn't my style. Overall, I enjoyed the product and would try other shades from the collection.

#SaintAndSinner Kat Von D Perfume

I recently got to try the new #SaintAndSinner fragrances from Kat Von D. According to Sephora.com Sinner has a warm and spicy fragrance while Saint is more of a floral scent. Both fragrances in my opinion were very nice and lasted a good amount of time on my skin. If I had to choose one I would have to lean towards saint more as I love a more floral scent and this particular perfume also had notes of vanilla and jasmine in it which I adore. The packaging for the perfumes are absolutely gorgeous as well! Have you guys tried these fragrances out? Let me know your thoughts :)

Summer Loving Faves! June & July 2017

Hello lovely people :) Hope your August is starting off well. The past couple of months have been a real blur for me. I've been shopping my stash alot an using some "new" products. I haven't been using much foundation as the weather has been pretty HOT and I would just sweat it off. So, I've been relying on my MAC strobe cream and concealer. The MAC strobe cream gives my skin a nice glow which I have been loving! Here are all the products I have been reaching for the past couple of months:

• ABH Master Palette by Mario
• Sephora Blush Palette
• Jouer Highlighter in Topaz - Amazing highlighter! I just got skinny dip from the skinny dip collection and can't wait to try that too.
• MUFE Pro Sculpting Duo in shade 02 - The bronzer and highlight in this duo is amazing!
• Nars Radiant Concealer - I've used this so much that I am almost out!
• Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
• ABH Pure Hollywood Liquid Lipstick - I recently picked this up at a local sephora where it was always sold out. I really love pairing this with different lip liners and glosses.
• Buxom Gloss in Mai Tai - Perfect for summer xoxo
• Marc Jacobs Gloss in Sugar Sugar - This gloss is so creamy!
• MAC MSF in Medium Dark
• MAC Strobe Cream in Goldlite
• Loreal Voluminous Base Mascara
• Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise - Love this mascara and wand! I hear this is a dupe for the TF Better than Sex Mascara but I haven't tried this mascara to compare. 
• SL Miss Glam Powder Brush from the Mermaid Sparkle collection - I love her brushes and use them every day!!

Current Favourites (March, April & May!)

So... I've been gone for a hot minute! 3 months to be exact. Boy time is flying by and I can't believe we are already in June. Half the year is gone. Hope everyone is doing well :) For the past few months my makeup has changed and I've been trying to use up some items in my collection plus try out some new things. Here are just a few things that I have been loving currently.

• Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 - an oldie but a goodie!
• Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer - this stuff makes my skin look so smooth. I guess that is why the call it "perfecting" LOL
• Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Full Coverage Foundation - Awesome coverage and lasting power.
• Too Faced Sweet Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Pure Peach - Moisturizing and sheer pigmentation but still pretty. This has made yet another appearance on my favourtes!
• Maybelline Colossal Big Shot - I use this almost everyday... I think I should retire it soon.
• MAC Eyeliner in Smoulder
• Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion
• Essence Light up your face luminizer palette - This gives you a subtle highlight and you can mix the three luminizers
• PF Butter Bronzer - Smells so good!
• MAC Melba Blush
• Milani Luminoso Blush 
• CP Highlighter in Smokin' Whisltes - gorgeous highlight if you like cream highlights.
• Maybelline Lipsticks in Blushing Beige, Ravishing Rose & Lust for Blush

February Favourites 2017
