MAC Haul: Alluring Aquatic

Guess what I got yesterday? The MAC Alluring Aquatic collection is gorgeous! This has got to be one of my favourite collections so far. The packaging is so pretty and I love the water droplet detailing. The products are also pretty good too! I love the extra dimension eyeshadows, I swatched them in the store and they were pigmented and beautiful. Here is what I was able to pick up at the launch yesterday:

• Make-up bag (not that I need any more...)

MAC Blush in Fleet Fast

I went to the MAC Hey, Sailor! unveiling event at my local MAC store a few days ago and picked up some items. I actually purchased less than I thought I was going to. My initial thoughts of the collection when I saw them on-line was that it was going to be pretty awesome, but when I went to the event and actually did real life swatching I changed my mind on some products. However, I did end up with 4 items. Two lipglasses, One Lipstick and One Blush. Overall, the packaging is quite cute and I really like the Orange Temepra and Riviera Life lipglasses because the colours are not something you can find in the drugstore. I am still indifferent about the Salute! lipstick... just not quite sure how to wear it because it is a very pale colour. The blush is very pretty, a bit of a shimmer to it but I think its workable :) Has anyone else purchased anything from the collection and want to share their thoughts? Comment below!

I went to MAC a couple days ago and wasn't really looking for anything but I saw the lip color "Blankety" and had heard some raves about it on Youtube. So, I decided to try it out in the store and I fell in love with it. I think its a pretty nude and went with my skin tone pretty well (NC35). I also wanted to try the new Sheen Supreme Lipglass (although I'm not too big of a fan of the packaging) so I topped of "Blankety" with "Fuji Pink" and I really liked the combination on my lips. The Sheen Supreme Lipglass' aren't a sticky formula like some other lip glosses. The lasting power on the lips of both products was quite average, but I think its a nice everyday neutral combo :)
